🔨THE BUILD
Something happened on March 12th that most people completely missed.
Anthropic released a certification. The first official credential for building production AI systems. And right now almost nobody knows it exists.
That's the window.
Here's what makes this different from every other tech certification. The Claude Certified Architect - Foundation (CCA-F) isn't a multiple choice test about AI concepts. It's an architectural exam. It drops you inside a running system and asks: what do you do next? Can you actually build this? Would it survive in production?
The five domains you need to know cold:
Agentic Architecture (27%): how AI agents loop, act, and orchestrate
Prompt Engineering (20%) : getting structured, reliable outputs every time
Claude Code (20%): configuring AI development workflows for real teams
Tool Design & MCP (18%): connecting AI to the world around it
Context Management (15%): keeping systems reliable under real conditions
One thing to do this week. Just one. Download the official CCA-F Exam Guide from Anthropic Academy on Skilljar. It's free. It's the only document that tells you exactly what the exam tests. Read it before anything else. Everything else is noise until you've read this.
📋 CERT CORNER
Domain 1: Agentic Architecture
This domain is 27% of your score. It's also the one candidates are most overconfident about.
They think they understand agentic AI. Then they sit the exam. And they freeze on the thing that should be obvious.
When Claude returns stop_reason: "tool_use", the loop isn't done. It's paused. Waiting. You have to execute the tool, hand back the result, and continue. That's the contract. Most people either restart the loop or treat it as an error. Both are wrong. Both fail in production.
This week's question:
Your agent loop calls messages.create() and receives stop_reason: "tool_use". What must happen next?
A. Restart the loop with fresh context
B. Return a tool_result block and continue
C. Wait for the next user message
D. Raise an exception
Why B: The model is mid-loop. It executed a step and needs the result before it can continue. Give it the result. That's it. The other answers treat a normal event like a problem.
📦 WHAT SHIPPED
Accenture is retraining 30,000 people, and Cognizant 350,000. Deloitte and Infosys are all in. These aren't pilot programs. This is the new baseline.
And there are more certs coming. Developer. Seller. Advanced Architect. Later in 2026. The CCA-F is the entry point to a credential stack that's going to define who gets to work on the most interesting problems of our generation.
Get in now. Before it's crowded.
